Goodbye Preschool!

I can't believe that Cael will be starting Kindergarten in a month! I really felt like it was just a few months ago that I was taking him to Preschool for the first time. That first day I was expecting the worst. I thought, or should I say hoped, That Cael would be so sad to have me leave him there. I envisioned tears and long goodbyes but instead was given strict instructions to stay in the car and to not walk him to the door. I guess I should not be surprised if  on his first day of kindergarten  he asks where the car keys are and tells me not to bother because he will driving himself that day.

I am so grateful for the Preschool that we were able to find for Cael and know that he is more then ready for his big day because of his great teacher and experience there.  So here is goodbye to the great two years of Preschool and hello to the new world of year around school and Kindergarten!

Here are some pictures of Cael and what he did this Year at BRITE Preschool.

Dancing Queen!

From the day that we found out that Jordan was a girl I have been dreaming about the day when we could put her in dance. This spring our local rec center opened up and we were able to put Jordan in her first dance class along with a tumbling class. She has really loved both classes. If you ask her proud mother I think she was quite good at both :)

The second we got home from buying her new dance attire she had to try them out!

Her first day of class! She was so born to do this :)

Jordan it has been so fun to watch you Twirl and Tumble! We are so proud of you and are excited to see what you learn next!

Volcano's

Cael decided to do baseball again this year and I am so glad that he did. He was lucky enough to get a great coach that has really taken the time to teach them not only how to play but to really love the game of baseball.  Cael is a really great first baseman and really loves when he gets to play catcher!
Go Volcano's!!!

Cael felt like a real baseball player this year with his baseball pants and cleats.

This year was coaches pitch and Cael has become a real hitter!

Cael's favorite was being able to play catcher!

       KaaaaaBoom!

Way to go Cael! What a fun season this has been!

Spring Catch Up

I feel like I am always complaining that we never have a spring here in Utah. It always felt like we went straight from the cold winter weather right into the dead heat of summer. Now after getting rained out of another Baseball game tonight I am wondering if this spring weather is ever going to leave!
Yes, we have had a lot of rain and yes, I am thinking it is time to be done.  But we really have had a fun spring and it is time to catch up the blog on what has been going on...

Easter

The Kids had such a fun time coloring eggs this year. They loved finding where the Easter Bunnie had hidden them just as much as I loved to eat the Deviled eggs after :)

This is Cael's new picture face.  He was so proud of his Egg coloring abilities

Jordan was so proud of her egg masterpieces.

With two Easter parties to attend the kids had plenty of eggs to hunt for.

I just love this picture! These fabulous looking women are my Grandma, Mom and Sisters.

Birthday Fun!

Jordan's Birthday went on for days this year. We first  had a party with the Murphy side. She was so excited to get books and her first Tangled Barbie Doll. As you can see from the pictures she was not very thrilled with the whole birthday  thing. :)

The day before her birthday Grandma Murphy came and took her out for her "Special Birthday Date" with just Grandma. Jordan loved having Grandma all to her self and is still taking about being at the park with Grandma on the swings.

Jordan was so happy to have her Dad home on her birthday. We all went to Chick-File to eat and play on there fun play land.

This is Cael showing how do be Flynn Ryder and show off his smolder.

Jordan was so happy to have her Day Cousins over to celebrate!  Right before the party Jordan started asking what games we were going to play. So Mom had to hurry and come up with some Tangled theme games. We were able to come up with Hot potato with the Crown and hide Flynn Ryder's Satchel.
(They were a stretch but Jordan loved them just the same.)

Grandpa Day was so happy to show off the new Purple Crown.

Three!!!

My baby is Three...WHAT?!!!

For anyone that knows Jordan this should not be so hard to believe. Because in reality she is more like three going on twenty.
In the last year Jordan really has grown up so fast! She really says everything and I mean everything! A few months ago we were at the dentist and her dentist asked if I was sure she was really only almost three, because she was making his two year old seem like a cave man.
Her favorite question to ask after saying a word is, " Is that a Bad Word?" And she is always quick to say " We don't say that word, that is a bad word!" Sadly there have been times we have had to answer," Yes that is a bad word." But for the most part Jordan is the one correcting us and reminding us to keep our language clean :)

Her favorite Colors are Pink and Purple. She always hates what I pick out for her to wear and always seems to find something that she thinks would be much better. If ever she is with her Aunt Kiki or Aunt Corrinn she makes sure she always takes advantage of the opportunity and gets a good finger and toe painting. According to her, I am no good at the sort of thing and just scribble the paint on.

She has discovered a new love for Dance! She had her first class last week and has not stopped dancing since.

There are many times when Jordan is picking on her older brother or just being naughty because she likes to make me crazy. But the one thing Jordan has learned early on his how use those beautiful baby blues to make all those so called "Bad Moments" disappear. She is constantly reminding us to say our prayers and read our scriptures. Last night in her prayer at dinner she prayed and asked that Jesus would come to her Birthday Party.

Jordan we love you and are so happy to have you in our Family. Happy Birthday!
